Vintage Cranberry Glass & Silver Plate Cream and Sugar Set
Early Mid 20th Century 1920-1940 English or North American
A charming and finely proportioned vintage cream and sugar set featuring
rich cranberry glass inserts housed in ornate silver plate frames. The silver
mounts display graceful floral and fan motifs with elegant, scrolled handles,
allowing the cranberry glass liners to be fully removable for easy cleaning and use.
The sugar bowl measures approximately 4 inches wide x 3 inches tall, while
the cream jug measures 2¾ inches in diameter x 3 inches tall, making this
a delightfully petite set, perfect for an intimate tea service or a curated
display vignette. The condition is very good overall. The cranberry glass is vibrant and
clean, with one extremely small flea bite on the rim of the cream jug, visible
only upon close inspection and mentioned for accuracy.
A lovely example of vintage tableware, combining a decorative silver plate
with richly coloured glass, ideal for collectors of cranberry glass, tea service
accessories, or traditional silver-mounted pieces.
